China to allow online sales of prescription drugs as early as this month: sources

The China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) is finalizing which prescription medications will be approved for sale online. The policy is expected to open a market valued at over 1 trillion yuan and may happen as soon as this month (January 2015). Expectations of the new policy include restructuring the fragmented market and helping to contain costs.
