Citic 21CN deal gives Alibaba access to online drugs market

Medical e-commerce firm Citic CN Company Limited was renamed Alibaba Health Information Technology Limited after the Alibaba Group gained a majority share of the company in January. This deal gives Alibaba the country’s largest medical and pharmaceutical database as well as the right to sell medicine on the Internet.
