Fake Viagra dealer pleads guilty in federal court
Martez Alando Gurley, 40, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic counterfeit drugs and misbranded prescriptions via the Internet. Gurley owned and operated International Enhancers LLC, and Internet business, in which he bought fake medications from China for $10 per bottle and then resold them for $40 - $50 per bottle. Gurley will be sentenced in September where he faces up to five years in federal prison and fines up to $250,000. Additionally, he was ordered to pay the pharmaceutical makers, Pfizer and Eli Lilly, more than $400,000 in restitution.
