Florence, S.C. man sentenced for smuggling and distributing prescription drugs

A Florence, S.C. man was sentenced in his role in an international conspiracy to smuggle and distribute approximately $600,000 in prescription drugs in violation of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Lester Willard ran a fulfillment center for foreign drug companies that illegally sold unapproved pharmaceutical drugs to U.S. residents. He also sold unapproved prescription drugs through a website, www.click1market.com, that Willard maintained and controlled himself.
