Former doctor sentenced for selling medicines illegally

Doctor Raghbir Singh, 67, pleaded guilty to selling unauthorized medicine and prescription-only medicine to consumers without valid prescriptions over the Internet. All of the medicines were lifestyle drugs used in the treatment of male pattern baldness. Singh was sentenced to four months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and with two months under curfew where he is not allowed out between 8pm and 7am.
