Icann or I Can’t? Internet Agency Clashes with FDA Over Online Sites

Icann is the international agency that administers the Internet. Icann is failing to use its watchdog powers effectively as of the 4,700 suspicious sites selling medicines online, 4,000 remained online after reports were filed to Icann and the website registrars. Icann argues that its powers are limited as they do not have the authority to ‘punish’ offenders in the law enforcement or regulatory sense.
