Increasingly Sold Online, Fake Medicines Can Kill

Online pharmacies offering brand-name drugs at deeply discounted rates are too good to be true. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that half of all illegitimate online pharmacies are selling counterfeit medicines. Add to this the 2014 Annual Report from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) showing that 96% of the online pharmacies failed to meet federal and state laws. A counterfeiter from Pakistan, speaking to CNN incognito, said that it was very easy to market and sell fake drugs all over the world including: America, Europe, China, Iran and Iraq.
