Lehigh Valley pharmacist sentenced to prison, $2.5M forfeiture
Lena Lasher, 47, of High Bridge was convicted on multiple misbranding and fraud charges relating to an Internet pharmacy scheme that she was involved in. More than $13 million worth of drugs were sold under Lasher’s guidance. Lasher was a pharmacist working at two different pharmacies owned by Peter Riccio. Lasher was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to forfeit $2.5 million. The case also resulted in eight other defendants facing charges including the owner, Riccio.
