Miss. Pharmacist forfeits $2 million to settle federal charges in New Orleans

John A. McKinney, a Mississippi pharmacist, signed a plea agreement to forfeit $2 million to the federal government. McKinney was accused of distributing painkillers to online customers without providing the required in-person medical consultation. According to the agreement, the scam played out for about 10 years and focused primarily on the controlled substance, Fioricet.
