The traffic of counterfeit Viagra has increased by 300%

The number of counterfeit medicinal products seized at Madrid airport is multiplied by 3 in the first half of this year. Civil Guard agents have carried out 571 seizures between January and June of this year, whereas 174 seizures were carried out in 2014. The most frequently seized medicinal products are rogue sexual enhancers which are bought online and sent by ordinary mail. The Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) launched the campaign "Do not buy counterfeit medicines over the Internet. It can be a lethal error for your health" last February.
