The National Conference "Fakeshare: Partners in combating illegal drug marketing on the internet", intended at Competent Authorities and Police Forces, aims to release the project Fakeshare, nationally, as well as providing the opportunity to present the more practical side, in combating counterfeit drugs, through the presentation and discussion of the activities already developed and to be developed, in terms of cooperation between Competent Authorities.
The risks of counterfeit medicines, as well as the presentation of www.fakeshare.eu [1] site, dedicated to sharing information and research between the competent authorities involved in combating counterfeiting, are the opening themes of this conference.
The presentation of the framework, which involves various activities, particularly in terms of Directive 2011/62 / EU, constitute then an opportunity to review the implementation of this Directive in Portugal and other European countries.
The communication in the context of counterfeit drugs and the strategy to be developed under the project Fakeshare, finalize the first part of the Conference.
Due to the practical approach of the Police Forces and Competent Authorities to the phenomenon of illegal sale of drugs on the internet, the Conference also features the presentation of case studies, particularly in terms of cooperation between the Infarmed and the Tax and Customs Authority.
The second part of the conference will involve the participation of the Authority for Food and Economic Safety (ASAE) on the issue of adulteration of food supplements with medicinal products and will end with discussion and debate on counterfeit drugs, within the various authorities attending.
