A U.S. judge agreed to Google’s plan of creating a $250 million international program to disrupt illicit online pharmacies. This comes as a result of shareholder litigation over accusations that Google improperly allowed non-U.S. drug seller ads. Within the agreement Google also stated that it would work with legitimate pharmacies to counteract the marketing by illicit online pharmacies.
