Alibaba is set to launch a health app in December that will facilitate home delivery of pharmaceuticals and medicines. Users can upload a photo of their prescription to the app, which will send it to nearby pharmacies and request prices for the medicine in question. Once users decide on a preferred pharmacy, they can then make payments online and the medicine will be delivered to their homes.
