Illinois man pleads not guilty to conspiring to smuggle illegal cancer drugs into US

Ram Kamath was arraigned in Missoula on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Kamath, a PharmacyChecker.com executive, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy charges regarding the mislabeling of unapproved, and in two cases, counterfeit drugs that were then sold to US doctors. Thus far Kamath is the only one of 14 defendants to appear in the US court system. CanadaDrugs.com and its CEO, Kristjan Thorkelson, are also among the defendants named in the case.
