This is a report that was prepared by LegitScript for the Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies (CSIP) and explores the 2016 Internet pharmacy marketplace. Their data reveals that 96 percent of the Internet pharmacies globally fail to follow the required regulations. Of that population, 92 percent of the offenders are doing so in a blatantly illicit manner. Additionally, it is shown that the United States is the primary target of the illegal online pharmacies with 82 percent displaying in English and 85 percent offering to ship drugs to the United States.
