In "ALIMAYA" and "KOROWAY" operations, 52 people have been arrested and more than 130,000 doses of different synthetic substances have been seized. The investigations have been carried out in cooperation with the police from United Kingdom Holland, Belgium and Germany and have been coordinated within the European Police Office (EUROPOL). It has also been supported by the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS).
Operations are the most important and the most relevant ones at European level in relation to "New Psychoactive Substances (NSP)”. Its sale is made over the internet, but also at stores open to the public as products labeled as Legal Highs, Research Chemicals or Food Complements.
