MoH warns of fake herbal medicines and products

The Ministry of Health (MoH) is warning UAE residents not to use unlicensed herbal medicines being sold online. A number of Golden Viagra and Strong Horse tablets, marketed to deal with sexual impotence, were found to be fake. In addition, the MoH received notification on a weight loss medication, Zero Xtreme, from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as the capsules contained sibutramine and desmethylsibutramine which can cause life-threatening interactions in patients.
