More than 3,800 medicinal products seized in a non-authorized Centre of Santa Coloma (Barcelona)

The Civil Guard has seized more than 3,800 units of medicinal products from India and Russia in an unauthorized medical centre of Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona). The medical centre was inside a grocery store and medicinal products were exposed to be sold to the public. The Russian woman who ran the centre is being investigated for the alleged responsibility of the crimes against public health and professional intrusion. According to the Civil Guard, the woman exercised and was advertised as specialist in physiotherapy, gynecology, urology, allergy or diagnosis. The investigated woman explained that she bought medicinal products over the internet because "they were cheaper." The sales of the seized products to the public exceed 10,700 Euros. These medicinal products had not been checked by the Health Authorities.
