OCU collaborates in the dissemination of the European Project Fakeshare to fight against the illegal distribution of medicines

The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has collaborated in the dissemination of the European project 'Fakeshare' to fight against the illegal distribution of medicines over the Internet, considering these sales as a "real risk" to consumers. Responding to the purpose of informing and raising public awareness of the real risks, the OCU has stressed the recent launch of a campaign in which not only the Ministry of Health and the autonomous communities are engaged , but also other organizations, such as the OCU, Farmaindustria, the Association of Pharmacists and the Medical Association. All of them collaborate in the dissemination of the European project Fakeshare. Finally, has recalled that for several months is already possible to buy online non prescription medicines, in websites owner by authorized and properly identified pharmacies.
