Yanhee Slim herbal diet pills contain prescription drugs, FDA warns: Tainted supplements

The herbal diet pill, Yanhee Slim, has been advertised for sale online as a “100 percent drug free” supplement. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is now warning consumers that the supplement has been found to contain generic forms of a prescription weight loss drug, Belviq. The presence of lorcaserin, the generic form of Belviq, in the samples tested can be habit-forming, dangerous to pregnant women, and can negatively interact with other medications. The FDA is urging consumers to not use the product and to dispose of any remaining supplies.
